London's "Chelsea" club announced a deal with Makhachkala's "Anzhi" team on Sunday for the transfer of midfielder Willian to the "Blues".
The player had been linked with their neighbors, the "Tottenham" team, and even reportedly underwent a medical examination last Monday, but then Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich intervened.
According to unofficial information, the "aristocrats" will pay about £30 million for the Brazilian.
There are also rumors that Willian's teammate at "Anzhi", Samuel Eto'o, will also move to Chelsea.
Willian moved to the Dagestan team only this winter, and "Shakhtar" received a decent sum of €35 million for him.
During half a year at Anzhi, the player has played 17 matches, scored 1 goal, and made 6 assists.
