Julen Lopetegui will try his luck in the Premier League for the first time in his life.
Wolverhampton officially announced that the 56-year-old specialist from Spain will take over the team's helm starting from November 14.
The 'Wolves' tried to reach an agreement with the former Sevilla and Real strategist back in early October, but the coach rejected the offer due to his father's poor health.
At the end of October, J. Lopetegui decided to return to negotiations. Since then, both parties have easily reached an agreement.
The situation of the Wolverhampton club is currently challenging - after 13 rounds, the team has only 10 points at home, and in the near future, before the World Cup, they will have to face the 'Brighton' and 'Arsenal' teams in the Premier League.
We are delighted to announce Julen Lopetegui will take charge as our new head coach on Monday 14th November.
