Official: X. Alonso decided on his future at the "Bayer" club

Leverkusen's "Bayer" managed to keep coach Xabi Alonso at the helm for a long time.

It has been officially announced that the 41-year-old Spaniard has extended his contract with the Bundesliga club.

The new agreement between both parties will be valid until the summer of 2026.

In the previous season, "Bayer" finished 6th in the German championship, but managed to reach the Europa League semi-finals.
