Long-time "Manchester City" representative Yaya Toure will leave this team after the season - confirmed the team's coach Pep Guardiola.
The 34-year-old midfielder will play his final match for the club this Wednesday against "Brighton", and the "Man City" strategist stated that this match will be dedicated to the player's farewell to the team.
"Yaya arrived at this club at the very beginning of the journey. Now we are in this position because of what he has done. We cannot forget the period when, under the guidance of Roberto Mancini and Manuel Pellegrini, Y. Toure was a key player in the team.
"In the match against 'Brighton' we will give him what he deserves - one of the most beautiful farewells a player can receive. All the attention will be focused on ensuring that Y. Toure can leave triumphantly and we can achieve victory for him," said P. Guardiola.
Y. Toure joined "Manchester City" in 2010 from the "Barcelona" club for a sum of 30 million euros. Over eight years in the club, he won three "Premier League" titles, one FA Cup, and two League Cups. In total, he has played 315 matches and scored 82 goals for the club, but this season he was only able to appear on the field 16 times.
