After recovering from an injury, Zlatan Ibrahimović today officially tied his future with "Manchester United" team - the striker signed a new contract that will be valid until the end of this season.
The 35-year-old Swedish player moved to "Manchester United" last season and played a total of 46 matches for the team, scoring 28 goals and making 10 assists. However, Z. Ibrahimović suffered a serious injury in April, which raised doubts about the continuation of his player career.
Nevertheless, the striker is currently successfully undergoing rehabilitation, and as his return to the field approaches, it was officially announced today that Z. Ibrahimović signed a new contract and extended his career with the "Red Devils".
"I am coming back to continue what I started. A new contract with 'Manchester United' has always been my and the team's priority," - Zlatan Ibrahimović said after signing the contract.
This season, Z. Ibrahimović will wear different shirt numbers - he switched from number nine to number ten.
