Madrid's "Real" club saw expected changes on Monday evening - head coach Santiago Solari was dismissed from his duties, and his place was taken by Zinedine Zidane, who returned to the club in less than a year.
In the Spanish media, reports began to emerge after lunch that this evening Real Madrid will announce S. Solari's dismissal and the new coach.
The official announcement states that S. Solari will remain at the club and most likely will again lead the "Castilla" team, while Z. Zidane will take over the first team until at least 2022.
The 46-year-old strategist left Real club last summer. He was linked with clubs like Manchester United and Turin Juventus.
Z. Zidane, loved by both the team and all fans in Madrid, won nine trophies in 2.5 years at Real, including three consecutive Champions League titles.
Z. Zidane will start working with the team tomorrow.
