Olegueras extended the contract with "Barca" © EuroFootball.com

"Barcelona" defender Olegueras Presas has agreed to extend his contract. The Spaniard signed a four-year deal and will play for Barcelona's team until the summer of 2008. To buy this promising player, clubs would have to pay "Barca" up to 30 million euros. Olegueras joined the "Barcelona" team from UEA "Gramenet" club in 2001 and made his debut in the main team in 2002. Last season, Olegueras played in 18 matches. Due to a shortage of defenders, the Spaniard played several games, left a good impression on coach Frank Rijkaard, and thus earned a place in the starting lineup. This summer, "Barca" has already extended contracts with three players. Giovanni Van Bronckhorst extended his contract until 2007, and Olegueras for a longer period of time."
