The knockout stage of the European Football Championship is starting to take shape.

After Tuesday, during which France failed to beat Poland, it became clear that there will be four European giants on one side of the net.

In the quarterfinals, Portugal could face France, while Spain could face Germany.

The tournament hosts, the Germans, also found out their opponent in the quarterfinals. It's Denmark, who finished second in Group C.

The other clear quarterfinal pair is Italy against Switzerland.

The knockout stage will start next Saturday. The matches will take place at 19 and 22 o'clock.
