Once again retired A.Cassano: current players are rubbish

Scandalous Italian Antonio Cassano considered a return to professional football, but after training with the little-known team "Virtus Entella" for a few days, he decided to hang up his boots forever.

The 36-year-old athlete explained the motives for this decision:

"I no longer have the desire to train consistently, and motivation is needed to achieve something.

In 1999, football was much better, and all current players are mediocre. They are just a bunch of emptiness. Take out Juventus from Serie A and Higuain from Milan and try to find a real champion in the leagues," said A.Cassano.

The sniper named football representatives who left the biggest impression on him during his career.

"Fabio Capello is the best coach I've ever worked with, and Adriano Galliani is the smartest director in the last 30 years.

Francesco Totti is the most powerful Italian footballer of all time, and I would add Roberto Baggio and Paolo Maldini to him."

A.Cassano also commented on the work of Italy's national team coach Roberto Mancini:

"He is a suitable candidate to lead powerful teams forward, but for average teams? I would doubt it."
