Before the World Cup, one of the ambassadors of this tournament Khalid Salman strongly expressed his views on homosexuality.
As is known, in Qatar, where the World Cup will take place, and in other Middle Eastern countries, such things as homosexuality are highly condemned. However, society reacted very negatively to such words.
"Gays? They must accept the rules of our country. It is forbidden here," said K. Salman.
"I am not a strict Muslim, but why is it forbidden? Because homosexuality is a sign of a disturbed mind."
The World Cup will begin on November 20th in Qatar.
