Warsaw's "Legia" enthusiasts have something to be proud of - on Saturday, a new club stadium was opened with a friendly match against London's "Arsenal," which was built in place of the old one and named in honor of Marshal Jozef Pilsudski.

The impressive friendly match ended with a rare football result of 6-5 in favor of the guests from England.

The match for the "Legia" team, which can accommodate about 35 thousand spectators, started very successfully - in just 36 minutes they were leading 3-0 after goals by Ariel Cabral and Artur Jedrzejczyk, and an own goal by Laurent Koscielny.

However, a few minutes later, Marouane Chamakh reduced the gap, and at the beginning of the second half, Emanuel Eboue scored twice in the 60th minute to level the score. Just three minutes later, Kieran Gibbs put "Arsenal" ahead, but in the 75th minute, Jedrzejczyk made Warsaw's supporters rejoice - 4-4.

However, "Legia" couldn't hold on - in the 81st minute, Jay Emmanuel Thomas gave "Arsenal" the lead again, which was soon sealed by Samir Nasri. A late goal by Maciej Iwanski was only a consolation for the hosts.
