Starting the season well with "Genoa," Polish national team striker Krzysztof Piatek is showing his class in his new club.
Having acquired the Pole for 35 million euros this winter, the "Milan" club is reaping the benefits - K. Piatek has already scored six goals in the first five matches. In total, this season the forward has already punished opponents with 25 goals.
In a Serie A match on Saturday, K. Piatek also led "Milan" to victory - his double brought three points in the match against "Atalanta."
"I always trust myself and believe that I can score many goals. However, six goals in the first five matches with 'Milan' is not what I expected," said the Pole.
In the match against "Atalanta," K. Piatek scored two fantastic goals - first, the forward scored with one touch after a pass from Ricardo Rodriguez, and later added another goal with a powerful header.
"In the first episode, I was carefully marked, but I knew the ball would eventually fly into the penalty area, so I decided to move towards it and leave the opponents behind. I am happy with both goals. I hope they will continue to come. I am a striker, so I want to score in every match," added the 23-year-old player.
