Pamplonos became the first Spanish club to change the name of their stadium due to a sponsorship deal.

According to the official club website, a plan was approved to change the current stadium name "El Sadar" to "Reyno de Navarra" (Kingdom of Navarre), the name used by the regional government to promote tourism in the region.

For this step, "Osasuna" will receive 4.5 million euros (about 15.5 million litas) over three years.

This season has been very successful for the team from Pamplona - after seventeen rounds they are in second place in the Spanish league, just two points behind the leaders "Barcelona". It's worth mentioning that "Osasuna" has won all nine games played at the "El Sadar" stadium.

"El Sadar", which can hold almost 20,000 spectators, has been the main stadium of the Pamplona team since 1967.
