Former England national team striker Michael Owen's career could take a turn towards Spain - a club is interested in him.
The 32-year-old footballer wore the "Man Utd" jersey since 2009, but was plagued by injuries and played only 52 matches, scoring 17 goals. His contract was not renewed this summer.
Meanwhile, the managers of the "Malaga" team, who have qualified for the Champions League, are putting together their squad for the next season and see Owen, who scored 40 goals in 89 matches for the England national team, as a potential candidate to strengthen the attack.
The Englishman would not be a newcomer to Spain - in the 2004-2005 season, he represented Real Madrid and scored fourteen times in 40 matches.
