P. Aubameyang: "Arsenal" with A. Wenger had started to stagnate

During this offseason, after 22 years at the club, Arsene Wenger left the Arsenal team and the helm was taken over by Unai Emery. Most people were waiting for these changes and eagerly anticipate seeing the new face of the team, including Arsenal's striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The Gabon international, who scored 10 goals in 13 matches in the Premier League last season, revealed that in his opinion Arsenal had started to stagnate and he is eagerly awaiting the debut of the new coach.

"I think that this causes mixed emotions for everyone. On one hand, it is strange for all fans that the coach left the team. But this is a fresh start.

We need to be open - the club has started to stagnate in recent seasons. I think that's why everyone is a bit excited and impatient about what awaits us next season," said P. Aubameyang.

An Arsenal representative also praised the future coach Unai Emery and hoped that the team will play with two strikers under him.

"He is a good coach. It's not easy to work in Paris. There is a huge responsibility and pressure there. But I know that he really did well with both Sevilla and PSG teams.

I think everyone knows that I like to play in the center. I hope we will play with two strikers - that would be ideal. But if the new coach wants me on the wing - there won't be any problems."
