London's "Arsenal" took a point from "Old Trafford" stadium on Monday, when they played 1:1 draw with "Manchester United" team.
Scott McTominay put the hosts ahead at the end of the first half, but the "Gunners" leveled the score in the 58th minute, when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored.
Initially, the assistant referee flagged offside for the "Arsenal" forward, but after a VAR review, this erroneous decision was overturned.
After the match, P. Aubameyang said that such reviews take away some of the joy from the footballers.
"I was sure I was not offside, so I was surprised by the referee's whistle, but I still finished the attack. I always try to score a goal, even if the referee signals a violation of the rules.
I heard the fans shouting that I was offside, but after the review, the goal was allowed, so I was very happy.
Of course, VAR takes away some of the joy. It's a strange feeling. You can never be sure that the goal will be allowed. But it's okay, I'm still happy," Aubameyang told "Sky Sports" after the match.
