“Crystal Palace” team confirmed that Patrick Bamford's loan agreement has been terminated and the player has temporarily returned to Chelsea club.
The 22-year-old striker signed a year-long loan agreement with Crystal Palace in the summer, but he failed to establish himself in the team and never made it to the starting lineup for Premier League matches.
Bamford himself described his last six months as terrible, so it is not surprising that the player was sent back to Chelsea team.
“It was terrible. Nobody wants to sit on the bench and not play,” Bamford revealed to journalists on December 28.
It is reported that several Premier League clubs and Championship leaders Middlesbrough have expressed interest in Bamford.
