P. Cech will test himself in ice hockey

Czech football legend goalkeeper Petr Cech has ended his footballer, but not athlete career. The former goalkeeper of London's Chelsea and Arsenal signed a contract with the British ice hockey team "Guildford Phoenix". The 37-year-old goalkeeper announced the end of his football career after last season and returned to the Chelsea club, where he works as an advisor in the technical department. Now the Czech has decided to play for the "Guildford Phoenix" ice hockey team in his free time. "I am delighted that there is an opportunity to play for the 'Guildford Phoenix' team and gain new experience. I hope that by playing I will help this young team win as many matches as possible. After 20 years of professional football, this will be a wonderful experience for me. I have been dreaming of playing ice hockey since childhood," said P. Cech. He spent the last four seasons at Arsenal, before that he represented Chelsea for 11 years, with this club becoming English champions four times, as well as winning the Champions League and the Europa League. In addition, P. Cech was voted the best Czech footballer nine times.
