London's "Arsenal" goalkeeper Petr Cech was angry and disappointed after the match against "Tottenham".
The "Gunners" clearly lost to their main rivals in the capital derby and suffered a defeat as visitors with a score of 2-0.
This allows Mauricio Pochettino's players to continue fighting for the Premier League title, while the "Arsenal" team has further complicated their chances of reaching the top four.
"I feel angry and disappointed because, of course, these are not the matches we would want to lose," Cech said.
"It is a big disappointment for us. Even with all the emotions, I must say that we faced a team that is full of self-confidence, well-organized, and playing their best season. I think they showed slightly more confidence and were slightly stronger," he added.
"It hurts because these were important matches for both teams. They needed to win to keep their title hopes alive," he continued.
"We needed to win to secure a Champions League qualifying finish. Also, of course, we are very disappointed because this is the North London derby, it means a lot to the fans and it means a lot to the club and us. We needed three points, and in the end, we have none," Cech expressed.
Despite the loss, "Arsenal" still has real chances to climb up to third place. Currently behind in this position is "Liverpool", who leads Arsene Wenger's team by a few points but has played one more match.
