P. Coutinho could leave "Liverpool" after the season

If "Liverpool" fails to secure a ticket to the UEFA Champions League this season, one of the leaders Philippe Coutinho will leave the ranks of the "Reds" - this is the opinion of his teammate in the Brazilian national team, David Luiz.

Since the attacking midfielder arrived from Inter Milan to England, he has improved significantly and is now being sought after by clubs like "Barcelona" and Madrid's "Real".

The 23-year-old footballer had offers from other teams this summer, but decided to continue playing for Brendan Rodgers' team for at least one more season.

"Coutinho chose to stay at Liverpool this season even without Champions League football. I don't think he will make that decision again," Luiz told the Sunday Express.

"He needs to play among the best. Coutinho is currently the best midfielder in England. This is great, but at this level he is also noticed by bigger clubs."

"If Liverpool doesn't make it to the Champions League this season, I'm sure he will be the most sought-after player in all of Europe next summer."

Despite the words of the Paris Saint-Germain player, it is worth mentioning that Coutinho's contract is valid until 2020.
