Since January 2018, Philippe Coutinho, who played for "Barcelona" team, moved to "Bayern" in Munich last summer, where he currently plays on loan.
The 27-year-old Brazilian was also interested in his former club "Liverpool", but P. Coutinho himself revealed that Jurgen Klopp supported the former player's decision to move to Germany.
"Klopp wrote me a message and congratulated me on the new stage of my career. He said that "Bayern" is a great club, and the Bundesliga in Germany is of a high level. Klopp also said that he was happy to see me there," P. Coutinho said in an interview with "Sport Bild".
The attacking midfielder did not hesitate to praise J. Klopp and said that he changed the "Liverpool" team.
"Klopp is simply an amazing coach, one of the best in the world. He is a true leader. I have learned a lot from him, especially in terms of psychology.
Jurgen always finds the right words before and during matches. He turned the "Liverpool" team into an elite one again. It was an honor for me to work with him," added the Brazilian.
