Spain's national team defender Pau Cubarsi has left the team camp.

The Spaniard suffered a calf strain during the match against the Netherlands and was forced to exit earlier than expected.

He will be replaced in the "La Roja" squad by defender Mario Gila from the club Lazio in Rome.

Pau Cubarsi played 41 minutes in the UEFA Nations League quarterfinal match against the Netherlands, which ended in a 2:2 draw.
