Paulo Dybala admits that at the beginning of the season he expected something completely different within the ranks of Turin's Juventus, but the Argentine promises to work hard to regain the coach's trust.
P. Dybala started the season in the starting lineup against Chievo, but after a couple of matches he didn't perform well against Lazio, and in the match against Parma he only got 10 minutes.
Massimiliano Allegri decided to leave the Argentine on the bench and placed Mario Mandžukić, who played excellently, next to Cristiano Ronaldo.
"I admit that I didn't start the season as well as in previous years or even in 2016," Dybala said. "But my mind is focused on one thing - to return to Turin quickly and fight for my place in the team with my hard work."
"I want to return and play. I want to be ready for the match on Saturday and the start of the UEFA Champions League. It's a tournament that motivates any athlete," the forward said.
Asked about his relationship with C. Ronaldo, the footballer responded: "They are great. It's nice to be able to play in the national team with Leo and in the club with Cristiano. We need to train a lot and see what happens as the season progresses."
