Paulo Dybala, who led Turin's Juventus team to victory in the third round of the UEFA Champions League, does not hide his confidence in his abilities.
At the beginning of the season, P. Dybala, who did not have a place in the starting eleven, gradually earned Maurizio Sarri's trust. His two goals against Moscow's Lokomotiv determined the second victory for the "old lady" in the group stage.
After the match, the Argentine stated that he sees the team in the Champions League final.
"We are an experienced team and eager to achieve the maximum in this tournament," said P. Dybala. "I believe we have enough quality in the team to perform better in the Champions League than in recent years."
When asked about his own feelings, the forward added: "I am happy. I really needed these goals. It was not an easy match, but once again we showed the experience we have accumulated in this tournament. We never panic and play until we score."
During most of the second half, P. Dybala played in attack alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Gonzalo Higuain. However, the Argentine is not sure if such a trio is possible from the start of the match.
"Since we won, you will now say that we can play with that trio. But if we had lost, opinions would probably be different.
All we have to do is work hard in training. The coach has his ideas and we fully believe in them," Dybala concluded.
