Former Manchester United defender shared a joke from his time at the Manchester team.
Gerard Pique, current Barcelona defender, and Patrice Evra were teammates in Manchester from 2006 to 2008. The Frenchman revealed that there was no shortage of jokes between the two of them.
Once, Pique told a story about how he treated Evra's favorite football boots: "Evra had his favorite model of football boots, he even asked Nike to create them for him for years to come. He had his children's names written on them and other important details. I created a fire in the dressing room and burned all his boots."
Evra didn't find it funny: "That's not funny." "They burned my boots, I didn't find it amusing, the culprit was G. Pique, so I wanted to get back at him. I once took Pique's shoes, went to the bathroom, and made a big mess in them," he continued.
Pique had not told this part of the story, but almost a decade later, P. Evra remembers it as a funny story.
