Paulius Golubickas chose to continue his career in the Polish championship with "Žalgiris" – the Lithuanian national team midfielder has signed with the Radom "Radomiak" team.

Returning to Lithuania from Croatia in 2023, P. Golubickas spent two seasons in Vilnius, after which he became a free agent.

In 81 matches for "Žalgiris," the midfielder scored 11 goals and provided 16 assists.

The previous year was particularly successful for the player – he became the Lithuanian champion, and in 33 matches, he scored 8 goals and made 11 assists. In terms of the latter statistic, P. Golubickas was second in the league only to his teammate J. Bopes.

In the traditional "Žalgiris" Player of the Year voting, P. Golubickas received the most votes from fans after the 2024 season.

"I thank the entire FK "Žalgiris" community, the wonderful team with which we managed to win the championship title together. To the coach and his staff for the constant lessons, trust, and work to make us the best team in Lithuania. To all the fans, supporters, and South IV for the support during the most beautiful and saddest moments, for always being together and believing in your team. I also want to thank the club director for their trust and endless belief and positive pressure that we are the best, to pursue only the highest goals as players and as a team. Thank you! I wish you the greatest success in the upcoming battles!” P. Golubickas wrote in farewell.
