Despite Gabriel Jesus's injury, Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola believes that Alexis Sanchez will remain in London Arsenal this month.
The Chilean national team star was one step away from moving to the City team during the transfer window, but it all fell apart because the Gunners couldn't find a replacement for him.
The forward is very disappointed with this outcome and reportedly wants to leave the English capital as soon as possible. However, this is likely to happen only after the season.
"I don't know," Guardiola replied when asked about another City offer for Sanchez.
"He is an Arsenal player and I think he will stay there. We will have internal meetings and then see what the best step would be, but he is an Arsenal player and I think he will stay there."
This season, Sanchez has scored eight goals and provided four assists in over 20 matches in all competitions.
