Bayern Munich's coach Pep Guardiola denies that the German championship is boring and too easy for his players.
Last season, Bayern finished at the top of the tournament table in second place ahead of Dortmund's Borussia by 19 points, and this year they have already collected 7 more points than their closest pursuer Wolfsburg.
Nevertheless, Guardiola says that Bayern always has to work hard to achieve victory.
"The Bundesliga is not boring," the Spaniard said at a press conference.
"We are a great team, but we always have to work hard to beat our opponents. We put a lot of energy into the matches. Wins in the Bundesliga are never easy."
"We still have room for improvement. There are things we must do better."
When asked about the upcoming Ballon d'Or awards, the Spanish specialist indirectly hinted that he would like the award for the best footballer in the world to be given to one of his players.
"The Ballon d'Or is always widely discussed. Of course, several Bayern players deserve this award," Guardiola said.
"However, all the candidates are excellent. Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are always there as well."
"But the whole world saw what the Germans did at the World Cup..."
