Alvaro Morata, soon to leave the Real Madrid club, will also bid farewell to right-back Danilo, whose career is heading to England.
Manchester City's head coach, Pep Guardiola, confirmed interest in Danilo but did not reveal further details. Interestingly, not long ago, the "City" paid 50 million euros for the same position player, Kyle Walker.
"We have many options that could strengthen our squad, so negotiations for Danilo are certainly not over. Out of respect for other clubs, I cannot comment further on the details of the negotiations, but I can confirm that Danilo is one of the possible options," the coach said.
"As I said, he is currently a Real Madrid player. We are talking to three or four players whom we invite to join the team. We want to acquire them not only for the next season but for three, four, or five years ahead," Guardiola added.
Danilo, who has been playing for Madrid since 2015, had offers this summer from Juventus in Turin and Chelsea in London, but both clubs refused to pay the requested amount for the player.
It seems that the "Man City" team found Danilo's price affordable, and for around 35 million euros, he will strengthen the "City" in the near future.
