P. Guardiola: "Difficult to cope with the speed of Rashford, James and Martial"

Pep Guardiola-led "Manchester City" suffered their fourth defeat in this season - so many times "City" lost in the entire previous season in the English Premier League.

This time "Man City" was punished by their biggest rivals - Manchester United football players. Impressively counterattacking, the "Red Devils" triumphed with a score of 2:1.

After the match, Pep Guardiola did not spare praise for the opponents' attackers.

"I liked the way my team played," - said the Catalan at the beginning of the conversation. - "We conceded both goals because of the space we gave to the opponents. It's nothing new, but last season 'Man Utd' did not have that much freedom."

"We knew about their speed and what the trio of James, Martial, and Rashford can offer. However, sometimes there are no means to stop it," - continued the coach.

"Man City" dominated most of the match with the ball and put constant pressure on the opponents' defensive line, but the "Cityzens" were not sharp enough in the penalty area.

"We did what we usually do. Many times we penetrated their penalty area, but we failed to finish the attacks. I really liked the way the team played. I know that not everyone will agree with me, but I liked what I saw," - added P. Guardiola.
