"Manchester City" is still fighting for all possible trophies this season, but the situation is not the one that Pep Guardiola dreams of at the end of the season.
"Citizens" defeated "Crystal Palace" over the weekend, while "Liverpool" took care of potentially the strongest opponent of the last rounds - London's "Chelsea" at home. "Man City" has still played one game less, so formally they have a point advantage over "Liverpool."
However, the end of the Premier League season looks much tougher for Guardiola's troops - they still have matches against "Tottenham," "Man Utd," "Burnley," "Leicester," and "Brighton." Meanwhile, the "Liverpool" team has to play against "Cardiff," "Huddersfield," "Newcastle," and "Wolves."
After the match with "Crystal Palace," Pep Guardiola confidently stated that losing even a single point in one of the matches will determine "Liverpool's" triumph in the league.
"If we lose one or two points, we will not become champions," said the Catalan.
On the other hand, Jurgen Klopp is convinced that "Man City" may not make a mistake: "We believe they will win all their remaining matches. Now we have to fight for all possible points. It will be great if we become champions, and if not, we will still be a great team."
