Pep Guardiola and Xabi Alonso may join forces again next season. Journalist Luis Fdo Restrepo reports that P. Guardiola has contacted X. Alonso about the possibility of becoming his assistant at "Manchester City" club. P. Guardiola's coaching staff this season was left by Mikel Arteta, who got a job at London's "Arsenal" club. X. Alonso, who ended his career in 2017, became the assistant coach of the second team of Sebastiano's "Real Sociedad" last summer. In 2018, he interned at Madrid's "Real" club, where he coached for 14-matches. X. Alonso and P. Guardiola are known from their time at Bayern Munich."
