“Barcelona” team did not have a very successful season - the Catalans finished third in the “La Liga” championship and were eliminated from the UEFA Champions League in the quarterfinals. After such a season, pressure started to mount on coach Ronald Koeman, but the leaders of "Barca" decided to give the Dutchman another chance. This decision is supported by former "Barca" coach Pep Guardiola, who is convinced that R. Koeman deserves at least one more season at the helm of the team. "Koeman is currently the ideal coach for Barca. I am very happy that the club president decided to give him more time. This year has been very difficult for everyone, and Ronald deserves at least one more season to feel the support of the fans. Besides, second seasons for coaches are usually better.
