Munich's "Bayern" strategist Pep Guardiola jokingly dismissed rumors in the press that he could replace Rafael Benitez in the position of "Real" coach.
Benitez has recently faced pressure due to the unsuccessful performance in matches against "Barcelona," where "Real" lost at home to their main rivals by an embarrassing 0 - 4, as well as disagreements with most of the key players, with the name of Cristiano Ronaldo being mentioned most frequently.
It has long been discussed that Guardiola could leave the German champions in the summer and move to another team, with potential new employers being mentioned as "Manchester City," "Manchester United," and "Chelsea." This week, rumors emerged that the Spaniard could become the new coach of "Real," but the 44-year-old strategist quickly denied these reports.
"No, no, that wouldn't be good. We definitely wouldn't suit each other. There's really nothing I could say about such rumors," Guardiola jokingly replied at a press conference when asked about a possible move to Madrid.
Before moving to Germany, Guardiola coached the "Barcelona" club, where he won three "La Liga" championships, two Copa del Rey titles, two Champions League titles, and two FIFA Club World Cup trophies.
