P. Guardiola: "Man City" has no substitute for Fernandinho

Pep Guardiola is convinced that the Manchester team has no substitute for Fernandinho.

The victory against Liverpool and the return to the title race was a great example of that, he believes. The midfielder had missed two matches before this game, which did not go very well for the Man City team.

The Spaniard said: "He is a wonderful player. The match against Liverpool proves that. We must pray that he always stays fresh and can help us."

The manager also values S. Aguero's contribution: "He always plays well. I have respect for players who demonstrate good form for 10-12 years. Everyone can have one phenomenal season, but not everyone can play well throughout their entire career. I have respect for Vincent Kompany, David Silva, Sergio Aguero, and Nicolas Otamendi. They are always amazing."
