"Manchester City" coach Pep Guardiola warns his players that the fight for the Premier League title is not over yet.
"City" could have secured the top spot in the league standings last week against "Man United", but squandered a two-goal lead and suffered a setback.
Adding to the team's form slump is the fact that they lost twice to Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League, and now face a tough match against London's "Tottenham" tonight.
"I feel that 'United' is now going to fight for many points, as they are in good form and have top-level players," Guardiola said. "They can win all the remaining matches, so we have to do the same."
"Football is emotions. Since November or December we were already champions. When I look at the commentators, everything is already decided, it is impossible for us to succeed. We lost three matches in a week. That happens."
"We must win our matches and we can certainly win two of them. We have dealt with pressure throughout the season. If in the end we can't do it and 'United' wins the league, we can only congratulate 'United', look at what we did wrong in the last month and move on."
"Of course, it can happen. I assure you. Madrid's 'Real' has lost several matches in a row and not won the league. Of course, it can happen. They (Manchester City players) know that. There is no need to say it. However, everything is in our hands."
"City" still leads their closest pursuers by 13 points, so they need two more wins to clinch the title.
