Pep Guardiola this season has such a strong squad that for some important Premier League matches they may not even register players like Leroy Sane.
This happened on Saturday - the German was left out of the team when they fought against Newcastle at home. Last season's best young player in the Premier League, L. Sane, has lost his starting role this season.
There were rumors that P. Guardiola did not register the footballer because he cannot accept the lost role and behaves unprofessionally. However, the manager denied these rumors and added that the German will return to the squad.
"Last time, Phil Foden was not in the lineup and I was very sorry about it, just like now with Sane. Our squad is big, we have six forwards, but only two of them can be selected. The same situation with wingers," Guardiola added.
"He will be ready to play in the next games. We know how important he was for us last season, so we hope he will remain the same this year," Guardiola concluded.
