"Manchester City" coach Pep Guardiola hinted that during the winter transfer window, he received a very unexpected offer from agent Mino Raiola.
The Netherlands offered the "City" manager to buy key competitors "Man United" players Paul Pogba and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
It seems that the relationship between the French national team defender and coach Jose Mourinho is not the best this season, as he has been left on the bench several times without any serious reason, and the Armenian has already moved to London's "Arsenal".
Nevertheless, these offers still sound incredibly unbelievable.
"I have a lot of them... especially agents. I have a lot of them," Guardiola said before the clash with the "Red Devils", that Mourinho is not his only opponent.
Interestingly, recently departed to Los Angeles Galaxy Zlatan Ibrahimovic was called "son" and "traitor" by the same Raiola for the way he treated his client while coaching "Barcelona".
"I will answer the next day, today, before the match, I will not answer," Guardiola initially responded when asked about the agent's insults.
"I could answer him. I have a question, yes, I will answer him. Alright."
"So, I don't understand why I am like this... I agree with him. Eventually, people will find out my secrets, I am a bad guy. I am a coward. I don't understand why I am so bad."
"I never talk to him, so I don't know, maybe Ibra clarified a lot of things about me? Nevertheless, two months ago he offered us Mkhitaryan and Pogba. Why?"
"Why did he offer them? Did he want Mkhitaryan and Pogba to play for us? So, if I am like this, he must protect his players and must know that he cannot offer players to someone like me, like a dog. Comparing me to a dog is bad. It's not good. He must respect the dogs."
Guardiola added that he rejected the offer to buy Pogba because the Frenchman would be too expensive even for the "Man City" club.
