Pep Guardiola does not focus on individual awards, but he found it strange that no "Manchester City" player was included in the nominations.
On Monday, FIFA's best awards were handed out in Milan. Despite the fact that "Manchester City" was the most successful club in Europe last season, representatives of this team did not receive any recognition.
"Manchester City" won all four titles in England last season. Pep Guardiola himself was nominated for the best coach award, but he lost this battle to Jurgen Klopp.
"Maybe we need to win 5-6 titles and reach 250 points to at least have FIFA consider nominations next season.
"I don't think there was a player in Europe who had a more successful season than Bernardo Silva. He won titles not only with the club, but also with the national team," Guardiola briefly commented.
No "Man City" representatives made it to the top ten best footballers of the year, although, for example, Raheem Sterling demonstrated career form last season.
