P. Guardiola was dissatisfied with the performance of his students in attack.

„Manchester City” strategist Pep Guardiola claims that „Tottenham” was one of the physically strongest teams he has ever faced in his career.

In Monday's showdown, the English champions narrowly defeated the „Spurs”. In the first half, the visitors looked much better, but in the second half of the match, „Spurs” posed a greater threat to their opponents.

Guardiola was disappointed by his players' performance in attack, as they wasted too many opportunities.

„We played against one of the physically strongest teams I have ever faced in my entire life. They had Sissoko, Kane, Dier, Alderweireld, Sanchez, and Dembele.

They had an incredible physical advantage, and their quality of play was very poor. We didn't take advantage of several good opportunities and let them run,” Pep said.

„Nevertheless, we managed to control the ball quite well, even though we had difficulties due to their quality of play. The first 15-20 minutes were really good, but in the second half, we gave them a chance to take the initiative, which caused us problems.

In important matches, especially in the Champions League, we need to be much more precise in attack. Sooner or later, with such poor conversion of opportunities, we won't win matches,” the strategist added.
