Pep Guardiola does not see his "Manchester City" team as favorites to win the UEFA Champions League.
During his three years with the "Citizens" team, P. Guardiola has won two English Premier League titles, but they have not advanced past the quarterfinals of the Champions League.
Speaking at a press conference before the upcoming match against "Atalanta," P. Guardiola stated that his team is still not ready for this tournament.
"People say that the Champions League is our goal, but I think we are still not prepared (to win this tournament)," P. Guardiola affirmed.
"We create many opportunities, not conceding goals, but we still have room for improvement. We have scored a lot of goals in the past two years, but we still need to grow and work on that," continued the Catalan in the conversation.
"Man City" started their Champions League season with victories against Donetsk's "Shakhtar" (3:0) and Zagreb's "Dinamo" (2:0).
