P. Guardiola: "We wouldn't sell Foden even for 500 million euros"

Pep Guardiola is convinced that "Manchester City" academy graduate Phil Foden has a bright future ahead of him.

The 19-year-old footballer is considered one of the most promising English players, but his breakthrough is hindered by limited playing time in the "Man City" team.

This season, the Englishman has only appeared in four matches, with his Premier League performance lasting just 10 minutes. However, as P. Guardiola claims, P. Foden's future is within the "citizens."

"We did not sign a new contract with Phil just because we had to do so," the manager affirmed. "He is the only player in the club who is untouchable when it comes to transfers. He will not be sold even if someone offers 500 million euros."

Foden's future is here, in the "Manchester City" club. We will not be buying new players to compete in his position. When David Silva leaves (in the summer of 2020), we know perfectly well who will become our new magician," Guardiola did not spare kind words regarding the Englishman.
