P. Guardiola: 'Yes, I. Gundogan should stay at Manchester City for another year'

Ilkay Gundogan, a midfielder for Manchester City, has a contractual option to continue playing for this team next season.

This was confirmed by the "Citizens'" head coach Pep Guardiola:

"Yes, I. Gundogan should stay with us for another year... I just don’t know what will happen in the summer."

Despite the contract extension coming into effect, the German will be able to leave the "Man City" team this summer.

The 34-year-old Ilkay Gundogan scored 2 goals in 43 matches this season.
