"Barcelona" legend Patrick Kluivert says that if Real Madrid wins the UEFA Champions League, they will have had a better season than his former team.
The Catalans have already won the La Liga championship and the Spanish Cup, but according to the Dutchman, that doesn't compare to triumph in Europe.
"The Champions League is the biggest prize that any club can fight for, but it is very difficult. Winning the double is also good, but winning the Champions League is better," said Kluivert.
"I would rather play in the Champions League final and win it, because if you lose and don't have the double, it's also not good."
"Real Madrid plays great and they always do what they have to do."
"The Champions League is the most important title, but if Real Madrid doesn't win it, next season will be much harder."
Both Spanish giants will be able to test their strength in the upcoming "El Clasico" this weekend. However, it will no longer have an impact on the end of the season.
