Justinas Kluivertas father Patrick revealed that the transfer of the country's striker to "Roma" is already almost agreed, although he advised his son to stay in the ranks of Amsterdam's "Ajax."
The 19-year-old winger played excellently last season and attracted the attention of European giants, including "Manchester United."
In the media, there have been rumors lately that the Dutchman would move to the Italian capital for 18 million euros.
"I personally told him that maybe it would be better to stay at 'Ajax' for another year, go a few kilometers, be important to the team," Patrick Kluivert told "ESPN."
"He is 19 years old. He is still young, but he makes his own decisions, and as a father, I have to support all his decisions. It seems that he will leave 'Ajax.' I think his departure is already 90 percent decided."
"If he feels he needs to leave, then he needs to do it, but he needs to know what awaits him."
"It will be difficult because if you are 19 years old and you leave for another country, it is not easy. You must choose the club wisely and discuss deeply your future progress."
In total, Justinas Kluivertas played 36 matches this season, scoring 11 goals and providing five assists.
