Frenchman Paul Le Guen, who has become the new coach of Glasgow Rangers, seems seriously determined for the upcoming season and is strengthening the team with new footballers.
Earlier, "Rangers" acquired the Czech national team player Libor Sionko and Chelsea's youth team player Dean Furman. On Wednesday, the team announced that two former French players, Antoine Ponroy and William Stranger, will represent them next season.
Last season, the 20-year-old footballers played in the French "Ligue 1" championship and caught the eye of former French champion Lyon's coach. Le Guen claims to be very pleased with the acquisition of these players and believes that they will be very beneficial to the Glasgow team.
"I am pleased that we were able to acquire these footballers," said the Frenchman. "They are still very young and I believe that by working hard in our team, they will rapidly develop and become key players in the future."
"Our club has an excellent training base and everything else that such players as Antoine and William need, so I see no obstacles for these young players to become key players in the team," he added.
Le Guen became the coach of "Rangers" after an unsuccessful last season, when the club finished only third in the Scottish championship after many years, losing to the other Glasgow team, "Celtic," and this season's breakthrough team, Edinburgh "Hearts."
