Former England national team forward Paul Merson is skeptical about "Manchester United"'s chances of qualifying for the UEFA Champions League.
According to the "Sky Sports" expert, the lack of unity in the team is perfectly illustrated by the behavior of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba.
Let's remember that this summer the Frenchman became the most expensive footballer of all time, and a few other expensive newcomers also joined the team because of him.
"If this continues, it will be difficult for 'Manchester United' to reach the top four," Merson told "Daily Star".
"It seems like Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba only care about each other and ignore everyone else."
"I'm not sure if they are capable of the Champions League. Last Sunday they should have destroyed 'Stoke' within 20 minutes."
"However, I don't think they looked like they could shine afterwards. When Mourinho starts criticizing his players publicly, he's just expressing his disappointment."
Merson also mentioned that if things continue to look bad in the English Championship, "Man United" may have to put all their efforts into the Europa League, because winning it also guarantees a ticket to the Champions League.
