London's "Arsenal" defender Per Mertesacker insists that the "Gunners" have been building strength in recent years to compete for the Premier League title, and this season finally have a chance to win it all.
The capital team has triumphed in the FA Cup tournament in the last two seasons and has been competing in the UEFA Champions League for several years, but the German wants to elevate the club to an even higher level and win the national championship.
"We want to remain in the fight until the very end - that's our goal," Mertesacker said.
"We have already improved compared to last season and therefore we are looking forward to the upcoming weeks, as they will determine the future of the team."
