The legend of "Juventus" and current sports director Pavel Nedved is convinced that Cristiano Ronaldo's arrival in Turin will help take a big step forward not only for their club, but also for all of Italian football.
This summer, C. Ronaldo decided to make significant career changes and left Madrid's "Real". "Juventus" did not hesitate to spend 100 million euros for the 33-year-old footballer.
Speaking to the club's television, P. Nedved said: "After C. Ronaldo's arrival, we took a huge step forward among all the biggest clubs in Europe."
"The fact that we managed to attract Cristiano to the club is something unbelievable. It will help us in the future, and it could also benefit all of Italian football," added the legendary Czech.
P. Nedved also praised another newcomer - Emre Can, who arrived for free: "There is not much talk about Emre, but it was a very important deal. Many European clubs wanted him, but we were the ones who got him. He is a typical German player, capable of adapting to any style of play and team."
