"Juventus" sporting director Pavel Nedved would have gladly avoided a meeting with "Barcelona" in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals, but now the "old lady" is ready to fight and leave the Catalans behind.
Today the draws for the Champions League quarterfinals were made at the UEFA headquarters, which brought interesting matchups - "Juventus" - "Barcelona" or Madrid's "Real" - "Bayern".
"An impressive quarterfinal awaits," said P. Nedved. "We are well aware of how strong of an opponent the "Barcelona" club is, but we must be brave."
"It's been quite some time since the 2015 lost final. We believe that the time has come to once again clash with "Barcelona" and seek revenge. Of course, we must respect "Barcelona", but it should not go beyond a certain limit, as there is really no need to fear them.
"I think this season we are on the same level as "Barcelona"," added the legend of the "Juventus" club.
The first leg between "Juventus" and "Barcelona" will take place in Turin on April 11th, and the second leg will move to "Camp Nou" on the 19th of the same month.
